How We Work
Securemploy is a 30 year-old company that provides employers innovative ways to find employees. Our goal is to work with progressive employers that offer you career advancement opportunities.
Direct Mail. Employers hire us to write employment ads for them and then mail to people in the exact job they are looking for. When they have a job that fits your career goals and experience, you will be notified.
To respond to direct mail ads. Simply follow the instructions at the bottom of the ad. That usually means giving us a call or sending an email. If you are not interested, pass the ad to one of your friends or colleagues that might be interested.
E-mail. You will only receive notifications to your home email about jobs that you have requested within your profile. Sometimes employers will have opportunities that may be a lateral move, or a position you've held previously in your career. Employers like us to notify people about their jobs based on what they are looking for. That may not be the same thing you are looking for.
Example: An Employer may want a Food & Beverage Director for their hotel at $60-70,000. You may already be a Food & Beverage Director making $68,000, but want to be an Assistant General Manager. If the employer is interested in a F&B Director and you fit, you may get an email from us.
If you want to be an AGM, why do we notify you about F&B Director ads? Because 90% of candidates who are in a position, may consider the same position within another company if that company represents positive change or growth opportunities. We never want to second guess what you are looking for, or what is happening in your career this month. We would rather present the opportunity and let you say yes or no.
To respond to email ads. Follow the directions in the email, or click on the link that will take you to more information about the job and/or employer. If you are not interested, delete the email. If you don't want to receive email notifications about jobs, just let us know.
By Phone. We started as a retained search firm. Employers told us they needed more help and asked us to assist them with their overall recruiting needs. When we are working search assignments, we will either call you or send an email to call us. When employers use other services we offer, you will be notified by mail or email.
That's tough to answer. It all depends on how many jobs employers call us about that fit your background, interest, salary requirements, and geographical preferences.
Plan to spend at least 6 months looking for a new career opportunity. It may not take that long, but if you plan for it, you won't feel pressured to take the first job offer that comes along. Your objective is to stay in the drivers seat. Professional athletes and media stars all have agents to continually help them advance their careers. We believe you are equally important.
